“What Would You Say?” returns to ParentsAreTALKING with its second edition. This version of the game focuses on how to start a conversation with your teen about starting a healthy romantic relationship. Research shows that teens who have open and honest communication with their parents about sex are more likely to delay sexual activity, have fewer sexual partners, and use condoms and other contraceptives when they do decide to have sex.
The purpose of this game is to provide parents and caregivers with insights and tips on how to start conversations on this topic, not engage in conversation roadblocks, and practice active listening skills.
So, put on your thinking cap and have some parental fun in this new game!
Check out Game 2 to equip yourself with the skills necessary to effectively communicate with your teen and encourage a supportive environment for them to grow and thrive in.
P.S. Have fun while you’re at it!
