PAT’s first webinar features Dr. Aletha Akers, adolescent gynecologist and medical director of Adolescent Gynecology Consultative Services in the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Shannon Critini, PhD, MPH, VP for Strategic Initiatives at AccessMatters, a Philadelphia nonprofit. This webinar is part of a serious of collaborations with AccessMatters focused on educating parental caregivers about communicating with young people about sexual and reproductive health.
In this hour-long session, Dr. Akers and Dr. Critini educate parental caregivers about how to communicate to their teens and tweens about sexual health and puberty, share recommended reproductive health resources including ParentsAreTalking.com, and present information about adolescent sexual and reproductive health services at CHOP.
